Lucas Chaisson is a performing artist, songwriter, session musician and producer based in Edmonton, AB. Lucas began performing around Western Canada as a child and released two albums to critical acclaim before his 18th birthday. Since moving to Edmonton from Cochrane, AB in 2013, Lucas has released two more well-received recordings. Telling Time (2015) was produced by Juno and Grammy Award winning producer Colin Linden at House of Blues in Nashville, TN. After the success of Telling Time, Lucas decided to take on more creative control for his 2020 release Most True Thing. This most recent recording was produced by Chaisson and recorded/mixed by Juno nominated engineer Scott Franchuk at The Audio Department in Edmonton. This collaboration produced Lucas’s most fully realized effort to date, with performances from some of Canada’s finest musicians (Joey Landreth, Grant Siemens, John Showman), as well as Lucas’s touring band. - bio taken from Lucas’ website
